Andrea Martone has been a public relations and communications executive for 20 years, working both independently and with top New York City-based agencies (Howard Rubenstein Assoc., CooperKatz & Company, HealthStarPR).

Her wide repertoire of clients includes many start-up companies that achieved national success with her leadership as a PR strategist, as well as dozens of large corporations in the consumer products and health care industries.

Her knowledge of the use of social media, coupled with her ability to work in tandem with client marketing teams, has helped morph her talent into a true “content and brand strategist” — a new approach in the PR/Marketing realm.

National and international media relations are at the cornerstone of Ms. Martone’s success, having nurtured relationships for two decades with a wide media circle, including national broadcast ties. Her former client, iON Television Network, hired her for two years to produce and host a series of public affairs shows where she worked as one of several on-air hosts in 62 markets in the U.S. The half-hour show highlighted issues and concerns to the community and covered topics such as environmental issues, health care, politics, education, entertainment, and business.

On the consumer media side, she extensively toured U.S. cities with top Fortune 500 clients as on-site media director for Volvo North America, the Carrier Corporation, Otis Elevator Company, Homepoint.com, Triomega, Vespa scooters (Piaget), The Center for National & Exploited Children, the Association of National Advertisers, Gilda’s Club Worldwide, and many others.

She is a high-energy creative individual who believes in living life to the fullest both in her professional and personal life. To her clients, she is considered a valuable team player who believes a team effort is critical to both the quality of life and to achieve success for all organizations and businesses.

Ms. Martone holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Vermont and an M.S. in education from New York Institute of Technology. She lives and works in New York and also has an office in Florida.
